Blaine T. Bettinger
Blaine T. Bettinger is a registered patent attorney whose practice includes drafting and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, as well as issues of copyright protection, licensing of intellectual property and litigation related to patent, trademark and copyright infringement.
Before joining Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, Dr. Bettinger received a Ph.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University, where his research fields included biochemistry, genetics, cell biology and molecular biology. He served as a research assistant to Syracuse University Angela S. Cooney Professor of Law Lisa A. Dolak, with whom he co-authored two articles relating to the portrayal of the United States Patent System in the media. Dr. Bettinger also conducts research in personal genomics. In May 2009, Dr. Bettinger graduated from University of Syracuse College of Law.
David B. Woycechowsky
David B. Woycechowsky is a registered patent attorney. He concentrates his practice in intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, patent litigation, trademark litigation and intellectual property licensing. He has also done significant general contract work, such as collaborative research agreements, distribution and sales agreements, and commercial leases. His patent prosecution encompasses mechanical, electrical and chemical arts, which includes products and applications such as as battery chemistry and battery management, piping, pressurized fluid flow, electric motors, electric vehicles, software, disk drives, magneto-optical disc fabrication and data compression algorithms.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Woycechowsky was in-house patent counsel for Electrovaya, Inc. in Canada, where he managed the international patent portfolio. In addition to working with two California patent firms, Mr. Woycechowsky was an engineer with Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas.
